Special Orders

Emblem Outfitters is a company with 98% of our business as special orders. In our effort to satisfy each customer, we follow the guidelines outlined below to be sure we do it right the first time.

1. We call or e-mail and confirm the order, color, garment style emblem/embroidery that has been chosen.
2. All custom logo digitizing must be paid in full (non-refundable). A 50% non-refundable deposit on apparel and/or accessories will be required before work begins and the balance will be required upon delivery.
3. We will e-mail your chosen digitized design to get your final approval.
4. Paying by credit card is available, online orders must be paid in full via credit card. Allow five business days before your order is processed.
5. Paying by company or personal check, allow 10 business days (once we have received your check) for your check to clear before your order is processed.

Digitizing Fees

We turn your custom logo into an embroidered design. One time fee. Cost is $12.00 per thousand stitches digitized with a minimum fee of $50.00 per design. Stitch counts are estimated by the size and complexity of a design. Until design is actually digitized, stitch count will be estimated and could be +/- 20% of that which is quoted.

Optional: A copy of your digitized art file will be available to you upon your request ( requires an additional fee ) on a 3.5" disk or CD for a cost of $125.00 in addition to the digitizing fee.

Editing: To edit previously digitized designs that require less than 30 minutes to complete will be charged $30.00 and any major revisions will be quoted.

Estimate the stitch count for your custom embroidered design by following some guidelines provided below.

1. One fully filled square inch of embroidery is approximately 2,000 stitches.
2. One fully filled 1/4 square inch of embroidery is approximately 125 stitches.
3. Lettering should never be less than 3/16" high and lettering that is 1/4" high is approximately 100 stitches.
4. If you have drop shadows in your logo this will be approximately 200 stitches per inch.
5. Lines under your logo require approximately 200 stitches per inch.
6. Fabric used and detail in artwork affect how much underlay will be needed in order to provide you with a quality embroidered design, all this translates into how much it will affect the total amount of stitches in your design.

Typeface Only - Embroidery Setup: Cost is $30.00 per setup and includes only lettering ( using stock fonts ) or words, no graphics, icons, or logo included. This is billed per lettering sewn in a single location.

Shipping/Handling Fees

Special orders will be shipped via UPS ground unless otherwise approved. Real shipping charges will be added to your order and confirmed via e-mail or phone at time of confirmation of your order. Handling fees will be based on cost of insurance and packaging.

Items ordered from our on-line catalog, will be charged 5% of price of item for shipping and tax where applicable.

Returns

Returns ONLY apply to items that are ordered via catalog and have no special application - logo or embroidery - applied. All returns MUST be within 10 days in the mailing packaging and notification of return via e-mail to let us know the item is being returned. Credit will be applied via credit card within 30 days.
